"Moonwalk" by Ken Langer
"No Pain, No Gain" by Steve McGraw

discussion with the playwrights.
All audience members are welcome to participate.

Tammy Green writes:
Thank you so much, and thank you Northport Readers Theater, for reading my short play, "El Campeón: Politics con Pollo." It was such a pleasure to hear the play come alive as the actors read my words. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity, and for giving local talent a chance!

Art Pesin writes:
Thanks for letting this rookie take a swing at seeing his play come alive. It was scary, exciting and self-defining. The audience was open and intellectually curious. The acting both sensitive and bold under difficult circumstances. Sorry, if I ever write another play, and it is read, I will buy new cartridges. Seeing the people respond was even better than being selected for a contest. And as a lifelong Long Islander, with one foot in the Berkshire foothills, it was a thrill to share my work with my fellow islanders. I have written short commercial comedy skits with famous actors and comedians, but having something so personal acted out was as big a thrill. Thanks again.

Steven Doloff writes:
This was very gratifying to watch. The readers very affectively get across the pathos AND the humor I tried to put into the play. Please thank them for me.

Seth Freeman writes:
Thanks for sharing and thanks for all the great work you and your colleagues do at Northport nurturing and cherishing theater.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Reader's Theater has been generously hosted by St Paul's for many years. The church is now in need of funds and have requested that we ask for a $2.00 donation from each person who attends our meetings to help defray some of their costs. Please plan to bring your $2.00 donation when you attend the readings.
If you would prefer to make one donation for the year
please consider a total of $20 or more.
Checks should be made out to St Paul's UMC.

Thank you for your consideration.
And please think of St Paul's for a
donation. They will need a major rebuilding
project of their steeple this year.
