Tammy Green writes:
Although I've said it in person, I want to express my gratitude in writing to the wonderful Readers Theater. Hearing my words spoken by the actors was a fantastic experience. Not to mention the group is delightful!
Paul Bowman writes:
I want to thank you for including my play in the festival. It was well done. My wife and I attended and were impressed by the quality of all six of the plays on program one. (We were unable to stay for the second program.) I have attended a few play festivals where some of the plays were not of the same high caliber. The acting and directing were just great for all of the plays. The festival is truly a showcase for the Northport community. Everyone who took part should be proud. Keep up the good work.
Pamela Noll writes:
I was so grateful for the insights and ideas shared by you and the audience. As you know, hearing words has a much different effect than reading them. So, yes i will be making some adjustments that should help clarify the presentation, based on your talented audience.
Also, many thanks to the superb cast you chose. They were both terrific!
I have about two pages of notes now, and look forward to an improved play.
Rex McGregor writes:
I really appreciate hearing this reading. Please give the actors my thanks for their fine performances.
I hope I have an opportunity to work with your company on a future project.
Joe Hullett writes:
Thank you sincerely for both the reading and the video. I always make every effort to attend, but just couldn’t this time. The video, however, was the next best thing, particularly the discussion. Please thank the actors and the audience, too. I appreciated their efforts and their forbearance. I think many of the points raised were well taken, and I will use the “notes” to improve the play.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Reader's Theater has been generously hosted by St Paul's for many years. The church is now in need of funds and have requested that we ask for a $2.00 donation from each person who attends our meetings to help defray some of their costs. Please plan to bring your $2.00 donation when you attend the readings.
If you would prefer to make one donation for the year
please consider a total of $20 or more.
Checks should be made out to St Paul's UMC.
Thank you for your consideration.
And please think of St Paul's for a
donation. They will need a major rebuilding
project of their steeple this year.
WE WILL BE MEETING IN THE PARLOR. PLEASE USE THE
WEST (RIGHT-HAND) DOOR TO ENTER BUILDING.
IF DIFFICULT TO OPEN PRESS ON LEFT DOOR.
